Our consumer electronics client is actively seeking a Sr. Applications Developer to take a leading role in their newly formed Android team. This is a long term engagement with the goal of permanent hire after a 6-12month contract period. They need someone with extensive applications experience preferably in a mobile development environment. Expertise is needed to design and develop applications that combine an Android UI with web-based content and media services. They are looking to enhance the usability of their e-book device across multiple applications. The focus of this particular position will be to bring in someone with NDK expertise to bridge from native C code to Java. This is an immediate need and a key position for this team
