The Android Hackathon - Silicon Valley is the first hackathon in the SF Bay Area focused on Google Android-based applications. It is a free working event for developers, designers, and testers to build native applications for the Android platform. The hackathon will take place on Saturday, March 13 from 10AM to 10PM at Hacker Dojo in Mountain View.
The event is inspired by BarCamp, SuperHappyDevHouse, and iPhoneDevCamp. Attendees, which include developers, web developers, UI designers, and testers, come together over a short time in an informal environment to build new Android applications. We encourage attendees to team up to work in ad-hoc project development teams. All attendees should be prepared to work on an application project during the event.
Individuals and teams that finish their projects are invited to present their applications at the March 17th meeting of the Silicon Valley Android Developer Meetup. The audience will vote for their favorites. The top projects will receive prizes.

Along with David Cao (who runs
Silicon Valley Android Developers Meetup) I will also be helping with sponsors for food/drinks/giveaways/prizes. It should be a lot of fun!
Registration for the event is free. Space is limited, so register early. You can get more details and sign up at
