SF Android Meetups are for the technically stout of heart. Essentially, zero percent marketing fluff. About as much worthwhile, solid, technical information as you can pack into an hour. I've always come away having learned a trick or two or, even better, had a technical confusion cleared up so I can continue making headway on my own. Worth the drive/train up the Peninsula.

Alec, I am so pleased to have you in particular join. The conversation I had with you about turning the MVCC facility into an instrumented, optimized facility made me, for a moment at least, convinced that I wanted to live there! I look forward to hearing your insights on smart cars.
